21st birthday in PCB
Wednesday, May the 3rd. Last year on this day, my sister and my grandparents went to Olive Garden and the movies to see the Jungle Book, celebrating my 21st birthday. On my actual birthday, Garett and I went to Panama City where I had made reservations at Bikini Beach Resort. We took one look at our room and the 'shared' balcony and knew it wouldn't cut it. So the sweet girl at the front desk, Ashley? Taylor? we don't remember but she was an angel, hooked us up. She walked with us up to the rooms and we picked the one we wanted, no extra charge or anything. We ended up with a huge room with 2 beds, a kitchen area and a private balcony overlooking the water. It was awesome. We went to Tootsies first, then Coyote Ugly and that is where my night ended. I was d o n e by midnight. The rest of the weekend was so much fun, one of my best friends Mattie came down Friday and we all went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Saturday was a beach day and we came home that afternoon crisp from the sun. My 21st birthday is something I will always remember but will never ever do again. Garett still doesn't like to joke about it haha!

This year my birthday will be much more laid back. I'm still not sure exactly what we are doing but I know we will have a good time.

Summer school has started and it is going to be intense. One class at a time for 4 weeks and 3 exams crunched in to that time. We will see how it goes.

Brittany had her senior prom this past weekend and looked absolutely beautiful. She went with her boyfriend and several friends, and she said they had a fun time. She is getting close to being done with high school and it will be interesting to see where she goes in life. She has so much potential to be and do anything she wants.

Feelin 22

  So here it is, a few weeks after my 22nd birthday. I was showered with love, spending my actual birthday shopping and relaxing, eating a late lunch with my mom and sister at Red Elephant and later picking up Chick-fil-A with G and eating in bed haha! The next day we hit the road for Gainesville around 9:30. I was so excited to visit Mattie and see where she has lived for the past 6 months. We also took Britt along as a surprise and we had such a fun afternoon, finally eating at a Mexican restaurant for my birthday! It was such a fun day and I can't wait until we can go again. I feel older every day but 22 is almost like a gut punch. I haven't been the same digits since my 11th birthday and won't be again until I turn 33 (scary...) A lot has happened since I was 11 and I know a lot will happen in the next ten years. My wish is that ten years from now, I am just as happy and content with my life as I am today...
